Snowgums Group consists of Snowgums Retreat near Orange and Snowgums Event & Hire in Orange & Sydney, NSW.

Snowgums Retreat is a heritage farmstay with a unique ecology alongside Mt. Canobolas State Conservation Area. This contributes to making Snowgum’s an ideal breakaway location for a romantic weekend, wedding venue or family gathering. We are located just out of Orange, a short drive from Sydney or Canberra.

Snowgum Retreat’s established native gardens have undergone major restoration enhancing this unique location. Yet, even more eco-gardens are planned to expand upon the beauty of this location.

Guest of our airbnb or weddings can expect to find an abundance of native birds in our native gardens. The winter 2019 upgrades will befit any rustic wedding or special event.

The heritage Snowgums Retreat Homestead offers farmstay comfort with modern touches all in a perfect setting surrounded by orchards and vineyards produce famous Orange cool-climate wines.

Snowgums wedding and event equipment hire

Snowgums is proud to release images of its beautiful wedding and event equipment for marquee event usage.

Snowgums owners, Mark & Lisa Smith recently travelled overseas and purchased handpicked the collection.

Owner Lisa said, “we wanted something elegant, charming but also uniquely Snowgums, something that would fit into our own dining setting. It had to put people at ease. We think we’ve done that, the look is just stunning.”

Lisa has a highly attentive eye for detail, working in visual merchandising for a leading consumer brand. Lisa is also responsible for the styling of Snowgums Retreat. Finally Lisa is soft launching of a range of homewares and otherwise called Snowgums Collection, coming soon.

Snowgums is adding detailed photos of its full equipment range, available to guests at a Snowgums Event, shortly.

Snowgums wedding garden update

Snowgums Wedding roses

Our gardens at Snowgums have been getting so much TLC these past few weeks and new plantings in time for the gorgeous Jess’ wedding this Saturday, 23rd February 2019.

The plentiful supply of mountain water and blue skies have also greatly assisted.

We’ve added new turf, expanded our wedding lawn, planted close to 100 new plants, the Naked Lady flowers are in full bloom, as are our roses.

It is simply a gorgeous time to come and inspect Snowgums, this week or next, to consider it for your forthcoming Spring 2019 or 2020 date. Many good dates still available for 2019.
